we're headin for a heartbreak..

So there's this boy that I work with.. And basically.. He's everything I want in a guy.. Like no exaggeration. As far as I can tell, he's my perfect match. I will marry someone like him. But for the time being, this young man has my heart..

Unfortunately,,, someone else has his.. And someone else has hers.

I've done my best to be supportive to him.. He didn't give up on her.. Far from it. He started doing his best to win her over, this girl who already had a boyfriend.. It was tearing him apart.. He believes he has fallen in love with her. (I don't blame him, this girl is somethin special) And he is fairly sure that she likes him a lot as well.. Yesterday, when I went into work early, I sat down across from him to drink my orange juice, and instantly, he starts pouring his heart out to me.

He couldn't stand the fact that she was torn between two people, and he didn't want to make her choose, but at the same time he was sick of the whole back and forth thing..

At one point he said, "I just need to sit her down and tell her to choose between him.. or me.. but who would choose me?? .. I wouldn't choose me.."

It was all I could do to keep myself from screaming "I WILL ZACHARY!".. yes this is Zachary Davis.. Moving on.

This morning he texted me.. stating that he, in fact, did talk to her last night.. and even before I replied I knew it didn't go well..

He gave her the choice.. and she chose wrong. I don't care how much she and that other kid have been through.. Zach would have been the better option.. on any day.

She stole from him something he will never get back..

It's killing me to know his heart is broken...

For now I'm just gonna do my best to be his friend. Even though I suck at it, which I have proven time and time again. I'm just gonna have to keep praying that he finds someone who makes him the happiest man alive.

He deserves it.

More than anyone I know.

In fact.. the two.. would make a great pair.
