We'll be standin when you're gone

I never realized before now that God doesn't always give people trials to help them specifically,, but to help shape those around them..
Say a little boy has a life threatening disease, that hinders his everyday activities.. And he over comes every little thing.. Eventually anyway.
But he never seems to learn from any of it. But his family members do.
They learn patience, love, understanding, kindness, service, and how to lift others up when they're down.
Say a mother, who wants nothing more than to be healthy, seems to get every illness in the book, and never seems to get better. She doesnt really know what to learn. But her daughter learns responsiblity, independence, integrity, "grown-up-ness".. Ten times anything the mother could learn

Often-times, one's trials are harder for those around them than they are for one's self.
